Playbook Launch
More than 150 attendees celebrated the official launch of the Victoria Summit 2021 Playbook.
Held on Thursday, 24 February 2022 at Crown Aviary guests networked at the rooftop venue and met many colleagues and contacts in person for the first time after months of virtual meetings and public forums as part of the Victoria Summit 2021.
Guests included Reference and Working Group members, government representatives, major sponsor Global Victoria, silver partner Pitcher Partners, and KPMG who helped facilitate the Summit process.
The Playbook launch was the culmination of a year’s worth of collaboration throughout the Summit process that brought together thought leaders from industry, unions, governments, the community and educational institutions from across Victoria. The Playbook provides a guide to achieve the shared vision for Victoria to be the best place to live, learn, work and operate a business.
The event opened with an educational Welcome to Country by Uncle Bill and was emceed by Alicia Loxley. Speakers on the night included Steve Dimopoulos MP, Parliamentary Secretary to the Premier on behalf of the Victorian Government as well as Paul Guerra, Victorian Chamber Chief Executive and Victoria Summit Reference Group Chair and Adrian Kloeden, Deputy President, Victorian Chamber. Attendees also heard from four of the Working Group Co-Chairs in a panel about the Summit process and what’s next for the Playbook.
